Al-Sumait Prize 2018

The Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in Milan and Northern Italy is pleased to inform that H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, launched an initiative related to the awarding of the yearly prize promoted by the State of Kuwait in the name of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sumait, a Kuwaiti physician who dedicated his lifetime to humanitarian and charity causes in Africa.

The awarding of the prize is supervised by KFAS (Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences) and its Board of Trustees and it has a value of one million US Dollars (1.000.000,00 $).

The prize this year will be awarded to projects presenting concrete solutions for African countries in the field of health services.

The projects must be received by 30/06/2018.
