Ordinance of the Italian Minister of Health dated 28 August 2021
Italy bans entry from the State of Kuwait for tourism until further notice, according to the Ordinance of the Minister of Health dated 28 August 2021. The Ordinance bans anyone who has stayed or passed through Kuwait territories in the previous 14 days from entering or transiting through Italy.
Travel to Italy is allowed only for essential reasons: work, health or study, absolute urgency, return to own home or residency.
To gain entry, however, travelers must present negative PCR test results (taken within 78 hours before the arrival to Italy), fill out a self-declaration form upon arrival at the airport and undergo quarantine for ten days (regardless of the result of the PCR). In addition, they should undergo quarantine in their own home or at the address declared in the self-declaration form. At the end of the 10-day quarantine period, travelers must undergo an additional PCR test, even for vaccinated ones.
