The State of Kuwait at Venice Design 2018

Last week the official opening of the international design exhibition Venice Design 2018 was held in Venice. Kuwait is one of the participating countries, with its architect and artist Jassim AlNashmi, who accepted the invitation from the organizers and presented his work named “The Traveling Mihrab”, representing the State of Kuwait among other 30 countries.

The Venice Design exhibition was launched by a private preview on the 24th and 25th of May 2018  at Palazzo Michiel in Venice, Italy, in the presence of  the Vice Consul of Kuwait’s Consulate in Milan Mr Abdulmohsen Alfares, many of the participating artists and many journalists and representatives of the main institutions in town.
